National Donor Sabbath
National Donor Sabbath, November 13-15, 2015, is the time when major religions come together to learn about and celebrate donation and transplantation -- and pray for those affected by it.
There are more than 123,000 people waiting for lifesaving organ transplants -- more than 6,000 in Illinois alone -- and thousands more in need of life-enhancing eye and tissue transplants.
Join Team Illinois in helping spread the word that organ, eye and tissue donations enhance and save lives. Take this opportunity to share your story with others, participate in celebrations within your community, and encourage those around you to become an organ, eye and tissue donor.
But it will take more than prayer; it takes everyone to join the national registry. Register at www.donatelifeillinois.org.
